Material Quality

  • Stabilized with niobium to reduce the risk of cracking ensuring long-term durability.
  • Easily weldable for future modifications to wastegate or turbo flanges, adapting to evolving performance needs.

Designed for Optimal Flow and Firing Order

  • Optimized for the Volvo redblock firing order, ensuring exhaust pulses merge into the turbo with minimal interuptions from the previous firing cylinder.
  • Promotes even scavenging and balanced air-fuel ratios, resulting in smoother, more reliable engine operation.
  • Internal runner sized for exhaust velocity while avoiding restrictions or tight-radius bends, preventing the manifold from being the limiting factor in the system.
  • The A/R of your chosen turbine housing will be the significant restriction in this system.

Turbo and Wastegate V-Band Fitments

  • V-band configuration aligns with modern turbo technology future proofing your investment.
  • Compatible with V band Garrett G25, G30, G35 turbos and the GTX30 and GTX35 series or any other turbo using this size flange (Turbosmart, Pulsar)
  • Designed to accommodate the largest turbine housing in the G30 range (1.21 A/R) we can provide clearance measurements if you need a larger housing, email us.
  • Features a Turbosmart Hypergate WG45 45mm wastegate flange with excelent priority, no boost creep issues here

Spatial Constraints

  • Designed for the Volvo B230 engine with B234 16-valve head, utilizing original slanted engine mounts.
  • Tested fitment in compact RHD Volvo 240 engine bays, addressing challenges like the strut tower, frame rail, steering linkage, brake booster, oil filter, and alternator.
  • Accommodates both 75A alternators (Volvo 240) and 100A alternators (later Redblocks).
  • Wastegate placement ensures optimal boost control while maintaining clearance from critical components.
  • Compatible with larger engine bays like Volvo 740 and 940, also providing decent hood clearance for upright engines
